Coming in at number 8 for the most memorable moments in Darwin and District Cricket Competition 2023 is the Ralph Wiese Medal. But is it memorable because of the night or the way it was promoted? With *NT Cricket flouting the event with no promotion in the weeks leading up and then not even posting all the award winners for 2023 season, its hard to fathom how they remain so intrinsically involved with the event given how little they care for it. With virtual no 1st XI attendance, multiple mistakes with names and even a wrong photo for a team of the year member, it seemed to be a bit same old story for the night. However they did record a 30% increase in attendance.
However Darwin Cricket News & Scores will again put the hand up and say, we will run a better show, that people will enjoy and it will be organised, run in seasn and memorable for the right reasons.
