DDCC Round 2 Preview
The Tigers will be looking to go big again after a strong first up win at Kahlin Oval. Palmerston had plenty of positive signs with a bowling unit that looks like it can restrict a side and some depth batting wise. Both their seconds had good wins which applies some upward pressure early in the season. Ethan Anderson and Darshan Thakkar make their way into the line up (Daniel McKell & Jack Matchettout). Jayden Chatto is continuing to impress and won’t be far off a debut. The Tigers are unchanged and will take some beating.

Waratah v PINT
Both sides will take plenty of heart from their first up win and PINT may feel they have the goods after knocking over Tahs in their opening T20. Tahs bowling will be boosted by Noah McFayden’s entry into the side, while PINT have promoted Jonathon Caderamanpulle and Ajay Emmanuel on form from the seconds. Without Isaac Conway, Tahs will again hopes will again rest with skipper Koduru and recruit Dave Dubey. Gardens will be its usual self and those that apply themselves best will get runs on the board. Can see another upset here from the PINTers who have created a bit of buzz. Spin will again dominate proceedings.

The Villagers will be looking to set a tone early against the Eagles on what looks to be a good surface at TV. Adi Dave back in town makes his debut for Darwin along with Ronak Bedi. Both sides have genuine question marks around their batting depth, and if either can scratch together 200 it will be tough to chase. Smit Raval looked like he struggled to grip the ball in the extra heat and humidity however when he did land them, they looked very good. He’ll be the difference between the two sides, Eagles should win this with their experience against a very fresh TV that have a lot of debutants.
