Coming in at number four in the most memorable moments for 2023 season was Tracy Village Cricket Club demolition of reigning champions Waratah Warriors Cricket Club in the women's grand final. Having set the bar for the competition since its return (believe they look at the four in row titles had they won this), Waratah had no answer to Emily Johnston blitzing a 115* off 59 balls ably supported by Melissa Nixon with 53*. Tahs were never in the hunt in the chase and were bowled out for 59 in just under 10 overs. Well done to Tracy Village and all the teams and women that played in 2023, the competition continues to improve in quality and numbers.
